Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder
"It is as if my life were magically run by two electric currents: joyous positive and despairing negative - whichever is running at the moment dominates my life, floods it" - Sylvia Plath.
The origins of this illness are often found in our early childhood. We often grew up in a home where people - and their moods - were volatile and unpredictable. Physical and emotional violence were common. This left us scared, confused and angry but with nobody to talk to about these things. So when we grow up ,we have great difficulty managing our relationships.
Working with me offers the chance to see the links between our past and our present. And to change our ways of being. To be able to leave behind Sylvia Plath’s world and rebuild your own. This is not quick work - nor particularly easy. But it offers a chance for healing and change.
